Established in 1993, Urban College of Boston has a convenient location in downtown Boston. It is an independent, co-educational institution. UCB is a partner with Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. (ABCD), one of the nation's largest community action agencies. Chartered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, UCB offers programs of study leading to Associate of Arts degrees in Early Childhood Education, Human Services Administration, and General Studies. The college also offers many certificate programs and non-credit continuing education courses.
